This first video introduces the idea of making an Activity Wish Jar during this time of social distancing. It’s a way to engage the kids and help the conversation move from ‘things we can’t do’ to ‘things we’re looking forward to doing’. It’s got my family focusing on a New Year’s 2020 and planning for fun times! I hope it does the same for you! The second video is an instructional video for the kids on how to make the Wish Jar.
It’s an unfortunate fact that Covid-19 is getting in the way of many celebrations, including birthday parties! We’ve had many cancellations for some great kids that have had their parents asking, now what? How do we make this day feel special? Here are some ideas that you might consider:
